Nature’s influence on your wedding photos can be quite dramatic! One of my favorite blog, Junebug Weddings, has published their list of the Worlds’ Best Wedding Photographers. Enjoy the world seen from their eyes!
I recently had the pleasure of working with another amazing couple this past July, Michelle and Andrew! As they are both Engineers, Michelle and Andrew carefully planned out and designed their entire special day here at The Langham. This planning included enlisting the talented Candice Benjamin as their photographer.
I asked Michelle and Andrew to share a favorite photo from their special day:
I just can’t get over how beautiful this picture looks in this black and white!
Here’s a note from the new Mr. & Mrs. about working with Candice:
“We would like to say that we couldn’t have had anyone better to document our special day than Candice. She is such a fun person and her work is amazing. Andrew and I can’t stop looking at all the pictures she took. It really did make the day magical to be able to look back and remember that amazing day, and she captured it beautifully.”
Congratulations to Michelle and Andrew!
I sell Weddings for a living. I love everything about Weddings: the couples and their stories; the Dress; the Food; the Party! There’s so much excitement, emotion and detail that goes into the planning of every Wedding to make it unique from anyone else’s. But I have to say, I cannot wait to get married myself not for all of the reasons I just mentioned, but because I can’t wait for the Honeymoon!
I’ve been thinking about it since I was a little girl! Where would we go? There are so many exotic and beautiful places in this world to choose from! Do we want a remote and secluded beach? How about sailing around the Greek Islands? Or maybe sailing around the South Pacific? Should we eat and drink our way through Italy? How about trekking through Thailand? I honestly have no idea what I’m going to do when I actually have to plan the Honeymoon for an ‘us’.
A great site to visit is www.jetsetter.com. They have weekly sales on very unique properties, from the very simple to the extremely extravagant!
If you are looking for more of an adventure trip, take a look at www.imaginative-traveller.com
New Zealand anyone? From personal experience, New Zealand is the most beautiful, pristine and picturesque place I’ve ever seen. In case you didn’t know, Lord of the Rings was filmed there!
If you are searching for luxury mixed with adventure, maybe try auckland.langhamhotels.co.nz
Italy is always romantic no matter what reason you are there, which is why you can’t go wrong if you choose this gorgeous country for your Honeymoon. With all the history, food and wine, it’s a place I choose to go back to again and again. Take a look at the following website for deals which include the utterly gorgeous Amalfi Coast!
I don’t know if this blog will help or make you even more indecisive. You can be confident though that you will love whichever destination you choose because you are with the person you love the most!
For today’s blog, Wedding Planner Christine Zohrabians of Fancy That! Events shared pictures from Neda & David’s wedding that she did. Neda & David’s ceremony was held in The Horseshoe Garden and their reception was in The Viennese Ballroom.
David proposed to Neda on the red bridge at The Langham two years prior, so on their wedding day Christine worked with Duke Photography to stage the couples’ “first sight” on the same red bridge!
Enjoy the pictures and be sure to visit Christine’s new website, www.fancythatevents.com, where there are pictures from other Langham weddings too!
Children bring a certain vibe to a wedding. Undeniably cute and always unpredictable, they’ll keep you grounded and bring a smile to everyone’s face on your wedding day.
I found images of these little darlings below on one of my favorite websites, Style Me Pretty:

This really qualifies as wedding bragging rights…“Not only does the florist for my wedding also do the Grammys, but he was just awarded Biz Bash’s 2012 Reader’s Choice award for Event Designer of the Year!”
Ricardo Luna of Luna Gardens Events is one of our talented Preferred Vendors who’s just received Biz Bash’s prestigious Event Designer of the Year award – and we couldn’t be more proud!
Ricardo has been in the industry for 25 years and has developed a reputation of quality, innovation and attention to detail, which allows him to produce large, prestigious events such as the Grammys so effortlessly.
I’ve known Ricardo through decorating more private, intimate celebrations such as christenings, bridal showers and especially stunning weddings. Seeing him design a bride’s dream wedding in just a few minutes is a true joy to behold. He’s also a great listener and a master in staying on budget – I always wonder how he does it!
Ricardo’s company extends far beyond floral arrangements too. Luna Gardens is a complete event design company, which owns all of their own props, lighting, chiavari chairs, luxurious linens, LED lit and tufted bars, Italian Lounge furniture, and specialty dance floors, which are all housed in a massive warehouse in Los Angeles.
I would like to offer my congratulations to Ricardo on a truly well deserved accomplishment! Now we have bragging rights too!
