Summer Colors – Fuchsia & Taupe!

As summer quickly approaches, Fuchsia and Taupe are beginning to stand out as one of the top color combinations for Brides and Grooms everywhere! These two hues complement each other perfectly, while giving you that burst of color that is appropriate for summer months, yet still maintaining a classy and sophisticated elegance.

This color duo allows you to keep that refined simplicity in the table linens and arrangements, and then really showcase the burst of fuchsia in the floral arrangements.

When it comes to flowers in this color palette, the choices are extremely diverse. There are so many options!  For a less dramatic color choice, you may also consider combining bright fuchsia florals with other lighter pink options to make stunning arrangements.

A simple spray-rose boutonniere is a nice option to make a big color statement when set against a Taupe or pale khaki jacket. This is sure to go over well with the Groom as well, since although it is “pink,” it is still masculine and vibrant.

Specialty drinks are another common area to infuse your color scheme for the wedding. Instead of going with a more traditional fuchsia or pink specialty drink, why not consider doing a Taupe colored specialty drink and then possibly providing a fuchsia napkin or garnish? It would be a unique and fun twist on this tradition!
